Several days ago, we went on a mission to find out which Dota 2 clip is the most popular of all time. There are plenty of iconic Dota 2 moments, so we weren’t sure what to expect. Turns out, the most viewed Dota 2 clip on Twitch.tv belongs to a streamer named 4l411, and it's simply titled "dota wtf."
Since we didn’t recognize the name, we checked out his profile. 4l411 is a Turkish streamer who streamed 53 hours in the past 30 days, averaging about 6.5 viewers per stream. He also has a YouTube channel called L411, sitting at 346 subscribers, with most of his videos getting just a few hundred views.
Interestingly, the clip wasn’t created by the streamer himself—it was clipped by a viewer named hidirellezz. In the two months since it was made, the clip has racked up a staggering 11.8 million views.
So, what's in the clip? 4l411 is playing Legion Commander, trying to kill a Rubick. Rubick lifts LC onto the high ground with Telekinesis, but LC immediately Duels Rubick, ignoring the terrain and securing the kill. It's a known interaction—Duel cancels terrain limitations—so there’s nothing groundbreaking happening.
We also couldn’t find the clip posted elsewhere. Reaching out to 4l411 wasn’t an option since he has Twitch whispers disabled. We even asked well-known Dota 2 analysts like hairy_freak and Lacoste for their take, but neither saw anything particularly “special” about it.
All in all, it’s a big question mark.
For context, the second most viewed Dota 2 clip on Twitch is "Mason receiving his Christmas present," followed by "NAOMI - ROCK LADY, MI AMORES," and "Kyle Calls Out EE." These clips sit at around 600K–500K views—light years behind 4l411’s.
So, why exactly is this "dota wtf" clip the most viewed Dota 2 clip of all time on Twitch? How did it gather nearly 12 million views in just two months—completely blowing the competition out of the water? If you’ve got theories, we’d love to hear them.
