Vitality arrive at IEM Atlanta as a machine in full gear, and FaZe's recent form gives little reason to believe they can stop them.
FaZe are not without weapons. Nuke is a genuine stronghold, and Dust2 offers them a foothold if the veto goes their way. But the broader picture is damaging. A 49% overall winrate over the recent half-year signals a team running on fumes, and back-to-back losses to paiN and Natus Vincere expose real vulnerabilities at the top level.
Vitality are operating at a different altitude entirely. An 88% winrate over the recent half-year is not a hot streak, it is dominance. Their Dust2 ownership is a particular concern for FaZe given Vitality first-pick that map at will, posting a 91% winrate there. Even on secondary maps like Inferno and Mirage, the numbers hold firm. This is a team that does not have weak spots.
The head-to-head history drives the final nail in. FaZe have won just 39% of their meetings against Vitality since February 2025, across five encounters. That pattern does not reverse without a significant form shift, and nothing in FaZe's recent results suggests one is coming. Vitality take this convincingly.
