NiP will clash battered and bruised, but their map pool mastery gives them a genuine edge over an M80 side with glaring structural weaknesses.
NiP have dropped three of their last five, including a painful group-stage loss to rank 16 Legacy. The alarm bells are ringing. However, form alone does not tell the full story, and the map pool dynamics here swing heavily in the Swedes' favor.
M80 ban Nuke at a 91% rate and have never first-picked it, meaning NiP's most dominant map at 69% winrate is almost certain to be in play. NiP also excel on Train, first-picking it 86% of the time. M80 will struggle to neutralize both threats in the veto without exposing their own vulnerabilities elsewhere.
Those vulnerabilities are real. Inferno sits at just 39% for M80 over 13 maps, a number NiP's vetoing team will happily exploit. NiP's overall map pool control forces M80 into uncomfortable territory at every step. A wounded NiP is still a tactically disciplined NiP, and that discipline wins this one.
Prediction: Ninjas in Pyjamas 2-1 M80
