Sixteen teams enter the single-elimination gauntlet at Esports World Cup 2026, and only one will walk away with the trophy. The Round of 16 pairs contrasting styles across the board, from FaZe Clan's rebuild against a red-hot Team Vitality to Natus Vincere hunting revenge chances against Legacy. Here's how we see the bracket unfolding, round by round.

Lock in your picks before the first match starts. GoCore's Pick'ems section lets you call the bracket match by match, with fresh contests opening as each round approaches.
On the top side of the bracket, G2 Esports will face Astralis in what should be a straightforward test for the more consistent roster, while FURIA takes on Aurora Gaming in a matchup where FURIA's individual firepower should carry them through. FUT Esports gets a winnable draw against Magic, and MOUZ should have enough depth to see off GamerLegion.

The bottom half brings more intrigue. Natus Vincere will beat Legacy comfortably, and Team Falcons should have the tools to get past The MongolZ. The standout tie is FaZe Clan against Team Vitality, where Vitality's tactical discipline should prove decisive, while Team Spirit will need to fend off a scrappy B8 side to reach the quarterfinals.

Once the dust settles on the Round of 16, the quarterfinal picture takes shape fast. FURIA will beat G2 in a clash of Round of 16 winners, and FUT Esports will edge out MOUZ to book their semifinal spot.

On the other side, Team Falcons will beat Natus Vincere, while Team Vitality will beat Team Spirit in a battle of two of the tournament's more disciplined rosters.

The semifinal round is where our bracket sees the biggest separation. FURIA will beat FUT Esports to reach the final, riding the same individual talent that carried them through the earlier rounds. On the other side, Team Falcons will beat Team Vitality, continuing their run as one of the tournament's most consistent teams across every round we've projected.

That sets up a FURIA vs Team Falcons grand final, and this is where our bracket stops calling winners. Both teams will have earned their spot through the toughest stretch of the tournament, and the final is close enough that it deserves its own read closer to the day. This is exactly the kind of match where Pick'ems separates the players who did their homework from everyone else.
