Hosted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the EWC is organized by the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) and ESL FACEIT Group. After a massive debut in 2024 with a jaw-dropping $62.5 million prize pool across 22 games, the event is stepping things up this year. The 2025 edition will feature 24 titles, including newcomers like Chess, and a total prize pool of $70.45 million. Yep, it’s getting even bigger.
Each game has its own qualifiers leading up to the grand finals, all of which are streamed live as part of the EWC. On top of that, there's a club championship running across all games, so fans can also follow their favorite esports orgs as they compete for overall dominance.

Organizers have spread things out a bit — trimming down the number of matches each day and making sure every tournament finale lands on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. The idea? To give every final the spotlight it deserves and make it easier for fans to tune in at prime time. The full broadcast schedule hasn’t dropped yet, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as it does.
You can grab weekly tickets for SAR 999 (around €234). Planning to catch both Dota 2 and CS2? You’ll need tickets for Week 2 and Week 7, since each title runs in its own week. Good news: your ticket also gets you access to all other games happening during that week.
