Four teams entered Monday's round 3 matchups without a single series loss. Team Liquid, Team Spirit, HEROIC, and PARIVISION all survived PGL Wallachia Season 7's opening two rounds unscathed, setting up an increasingly tense Swiss bracket as the $1,000,000 tournament heats up in Bucharest, Romania. With eight teams now sitting at 1-1 and four already staring down elimination at 0-2, the group stage is well and truly alive.
The first day in Bucharest produced few major shocks at the top, but the middle and bottom of the field delivered instant talking points.
Team Liquid, Team Falcons, Aurora Gaming, and PARIVISION all swept their round 1 opponents to open with clean 2-0 victories. Team Spirit edged past Xtreme Gaming in a tighter 2-1 series, while Natus Vincere handed Tundra Esports a 2-1 defeat in what became one of the day's most discussed matches. Tundra entered the event with stand-in Parker replacing Pure, who missed the tournament due to visa complications, and the fill-in arrangement showed early.
HEROIC provided one of the cleaner surprises of round 1, sweeping Team Yandex 2-0 in a dominant display. Team Yandex were also playing with a stand-in, fielding DM, and the combination of roster instability and HEROIC's strong Americas qualifier run made for a one-sided outcome. Vici Gaming completed round 1 with a 2-1 win over OG, a notable result given Vici only earned their main event spot as a late replacement for Power Rangers.
Round 1 standings after day one: Aurora, Team Falcons, Team Liquid, PARIVISION, Team Spirit, Vici Gaming, HEROIC, and Natus Vincere all moved to 1-0. OG, Xtreme Gaming, Team Yandex, BetBoom Team, MOUZ, Tundra Esports, Yellow Submarine, and Team Nemesis fell to 0-1.

Sunday's round 2 action separated the contenders from the early strugglers in decisive fashion.
Team Liquid continued their impressive run with a 2-0 sweep of Vici Gaming, winning both games in 49 and 39 minutes respectively. Team Spirit maintained their momentum with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Team Falcons. Spirit took game one in 47 minutes, dropped game two, then closed out the series in 41 minutes in a match that underlined their intent after a difficult DreamLeague Season 28 campaign.

HEROIC made the statement of the round by beating Aurora Gaming 2-1 in a three-game series. Aurora drew level in game two with a 36-minute victory, but HEROIC recovered and secured the decisive game three in 50 minutes to remain perfect. PARIVISION also stayed unbeaten, taking down Natus Vincere 2-0 in a series that included a grueling 71-minute game one.

Among the 0-1 teams, BetBoom Team produced the most convincing performance, sweeping OG 2-0 in 45 and 57 minutes to recover from their round 1 defeat. Tundra Esports also bounced back with a 2-0 win over Yellow Submarine, while Xtreme Gaming survived a marathon three-game battle against Team Nemesis. Team Yandex completed their recovery with a win over MOUZ, moving both teams to 1-1 and 0-2 respectively.
Current standings after two rounds: Team Liquid, Team Spirit, HEROIC, and PARIVISION lead at 2-0. Aurora, Xtreme Gaming, BetBoom Team, Tundra Esports, Team Yandex, Team Falcons, Natus Vincere, and Vici Gaming are clustered at 1-1. OG, MOUZ, Yellow Submarine, and Team Nemesis sit at 0-2.

With round 3 and beyond locked in, the Swiss system now delivers its most compelling matchups. The 2-0 bracket will see Team Liquid, Team Spirit, HEROIC, and PARIVISION face off against each other, with at least two of those four unbeaten runs ending. For fans tracking upcoming dota 2 tournaments across the 2026 season, these matchups offer an early read on which teams are genuine title contenders and which are riding short-term form.
In the 1-1 bracket, Aurora vs Tundra, Xtreme Gaming vs BetBoom Team, Natus Vincere vs Vici Gaming, and Team Yandex vs Team Falcons all carry significant elimination risk. Meanwhile, OG, MOUZ, Yellow Submarine, and Team Nemesis square off with playoff survival on the line.

With the group stage taking shape, now is the ideal time to get your predictions in before the bracket locks further. Whether you are tracking round-by-round progressions on your preferred Dota 2 betting site or competing in Gocore's Pick'ems for leaderboard points, the 2-0 bracket clashes are where the biggest calls will be made.
