Team Vitality are champions again. At BLAST Rivals Spring 2026 in Fort Worth, Texas, the world's number one CS2 side swept Natus Vincere 3-0 in the Grand Final on May 3, claiming their fifth consecutive tournament title and extending a winning streak that has no clear end in sight.
The full CS2 scores across the event told a more complicated story than the final result suggests. GamerLegion reached the semifinals as major underdogs. FaZe Clan made the playoffs under a new-look roster. The Grand Final opened with one of the most extraordinary individual maps of the year. And Vitality, for all their dominance, had to find answers in high-pressure moments more than once across the week. BLAST Rivals Spring 2026 brought eight teams to Texas across a group stage format leading into a single-elimination playoff bracket. Vitality and NAVI entered as the clear favorites, and both lived up to that billing through the groups, though Vitality's path through Group A was anything but smooth.

On day one, FUT Esports pushed the French side to three maps, with Vitality eventually closing out the deciding Nuke 13:11 in a scoreline that did the Turkish side no disservice.

In the Group A upper bracket final, G2 came back from 2:10 down on the first map, forced overtime, and had Vitality genuinely rattled before the favorites held on 16:13 to advance as group winners.

NAVI had considerably cleaner business to handle in Group B. They beat GamerLegion 2-0 to finish on top, while GamerLegion still moved on to the quarterfinals carrying momentum from their earlier upset of FURIA. FURIA, who struggled to get their aggressive early-round game going in both their losses, were eliminated.

The quarterfinals delivered both comebacks and upsets. FaZe ground out a 2-1 win over G2, taking Mirage in overtime after G2 leveled on Ancient. GamerLegion stunned Astralis with a second-half comeback on Inferno to close out a 2-0 sweep, their third strong result of the tournament.
Both semifinals ended 2-0. NAVI were controlled and clinical, dispatching FaZe across Dust2 (13:5) and Ancient (13:11). Vitality, meanwhile, delivered one of the most one-sided individual maps of the tournament, posting a 13:1 on Mirage against GamerLegion before closing out on Overpass.

The title match opened with what looked, briefly, like a genuine NAVI moment. Eleven consecutive rounds for NAVI to start map one on Nuke, and it felt as though their map win curse against Vitality was finally coming to an end. It was not.

On their own CT side, Vitality were equally dominant, managing to pull it all the way to overtime. From there, NAVI's spark diminished, and Vitality closed out the map 16:12. For fans tracking this event, moments like that one are a reminder of what separates the best CS2 players at the elite level from the rest of the field.

Anubis brought more tension. NAVI led 11:9, only for Vitality to win the last four rounds in a row and take the map 13:11. Dust2 settled matters cleanly in Vitality's favor as NAVI ran low on answers.

Vitality have now won 27 playoff maps and 15 Grand Final maps in a row this year. ZywOo claimed the tournament MVP award, having led Vitality through every pressure moment across the week in Fort Worth. GamerLegion were the undisputed story of the bracket run, reaching the final four after most had written them off before the tournament even began.

The next stop for Vitality on the CS2 calendar is IEM Cologne Major 2026, where the question of whether anyone can stop them will be asked again.
