Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk has reached another milestone in his illustrious Dota 2 career, becoming the first player to hit 16,000 MMR on the 28th of November. The Ukrainian carry player, renowned for his versatility and exceptional skills, continues to make history even during a break from competitive play.

Born in 2003, Yatoro’s journey began in regional tournaments in 2019. His career took off after joining Yellow Submarine, which later became Team Spirit. With Team Spirit, he became one of the most celebrated players in the Dota 2 scene, achieving incredible success, including winning The International 10 (TI10) in 2021.
At TI10, Yatoro set a record for the most rampages in a single tournament and showcased his versatility by playing 14 different heroes in over 20 games. His impact didn't stop there. In the following years, he led Team Spirit to victories at major tournaments, including the Riyadh Masters 2023 and DreamLeague Season 21, before claiming his second Aegis of Champions at The International 2023.

After Team Spirit’s 9th-12th place finish at The International 2024, Yatoro decided to step back from professional play, citing fatigue and unsatisfactory results. During this time, he focused on matchmaking, where he continued to demonstrate his dominance. His achievement of 16,000 MMR cements his status as one of the most skilled and consistent players in Dota 2 history.

Known for his adaptability and unmatched performance in both competitive and casual settings, his contributions to Dota 2 remain unparalleled. Even while taking a break, Yatoro continues to set benchmarks that inspire players and fans alike.
With his record-breaking MMR accomplishment, Yatoro reaffirms his position as one of the most skilled players in the world of Dota 2.
